The event was organized by TBI Colombia and the Alexander von Humboldt Institute and held from October 13 to 15, 2012. Over 30 community groups from different regions of Colombia shared their traditional knowledge related to the management of fauna, flora and the ecological processes that constitute the well-being and sustainability of the regions they inhabit.

TBI Colombia through the presentation of four local researchers from the amazon shared its information related to Chagras, food security and fish life cycles.
