This report provides a synthesis and analysis of the main findings from workshops conducted in 2017 and 2018 in 17 landscapes in 10 countries in Asia, Africa and South America applying the Landscape Governance Assessment (LGA) methodology developed by Tropenbos International in collaboration with EcoAgriculture Partners. The report also reflects on the value and limitations of the LGA methodology.

The report first gives a brief overview of the LGA process and its application in the Green Livelihoods Alliance, followed by a description of the approach that was taken to analyse the results. We then present the analyses of the quantitative and qualitative data that came out of the LGA assessment workshops and a summary of the visions for governance as discussed by workshop participants. Finally, we reflect on the value of the LGA methodology for other landscapes.
